Losing Weight

How do you lose and then maintain your weight?

Our Daddy MD Guide’s reply: I like to advise my patients with the same principle that I use in my own life, and the simple answer is low-calorie food. The entire diet industry is based on the simple principle of caloric balance. You either control calorie intake with diet or burn calories with the ultimate effect of negative calories to lose weight. With this in mind, all you have to focus on is low-calorie foods. If you choose low-calorie options that you like, there is a higher chance that this eating habit will last longer.

Along with eating, it is equally important that you are physically active. You don’t have to run on a treadmill to get the physical activity. You can spend more time with the kids during their playtime, play with kids on the playground, and take walks with family. All this will not only get you active but also improve the family bonding. These tricks have worked for me, and they have worked for many of my patients, as well.
